This is a Meetup for concerned citizens about the affordability of Columbia Heights going into recessionary times plus the total change in the character of Columbia Heights and how citizens will interact (degree of neighborliness) in the new developments being proposed by the City Council through the Metro Council. The affordable housing in Heritage Heights is still slated for destruction and will be replaced by affordable luxury living units in an impersonal up scale neighborhood. As part of this group in order to make change, we will need to know the City Charter for Columbia Heights. This is provide insights into how to create positive change. The link is below.
