Aloha!

On November 4th, 2008 Hawaii citizens will have the opportunity to vote to hold a Constitutional Convention (Con-Con) and elect ordinary citizens to make vital changes to state and local government.

These improvements can include educational reform, streamlining government that results in lower taxes, and lowering energy costs. Powerful voter rights mechanisms can be placed in our constitution that force greater acccountability to citizens - tools that our state legislators have so far denied us.

Literally every facet of state government can be examined and voters can decide if it is "making the grade". How? By voting "Yes" for a "Con-Con" and taking advantage of the most important opportunity in 30 years to bring dramatic change to Hawaii government.

Remember, if you leave your ballot blank on this question it means a "No" vote !
