Contemplating your run for city council [public advocate, borough prez, mayor?] next year? If you are a political novice that feels like a total outsider? you should join us. You can be a sheep and work your way up in the local political clubs over the next 20 years hoping "the man" picks you one day or you can have the audacity like Barack Obama and run for local office NOW! We are non-partisan and welcome Democrats and Republicans.
Members we seek should be potential candidates or campaign managers of 2009 campaigns. Obviously due to conflict of interests issues we can only have only ONE candidate/manager join us from any one city council district.
Our meetups will focus on campaign techniques YOU CAN USE TO WIN. We will discuss local politics, fundraising, the web, advertising, gotv, the best vendors to use and share horror stories to avoid repeating them.
Join group moderator Victor Armando Bernace, City Council Candidate in District #7 for 2009, election lawyer, and political consultant in these private strategy talks.
Our fee is $25 per meetup and will go toward wine & snacks and paying for handouts. Fee is intended to filter out non serious candidates.
Its content is only available to members.
To learn more, contact the organizer directly, or you can go ahead and join the group.
